Atone is good electronic soundscapes and a good example of how
sending your stuff in the mail does get it heard. I recieved Atone's
record in the mail in the summer of 2004. I listened to the CD
at work every day for a week solid when I decided to email Matthew
Kriska (Atone). I was not sure if working with an artist so far
away (he is from Minneapolis) would work out, but using the internet,
we were able to bring this record to you. We like to have many
different styles of music and this record showcases that.
Atone is stellar. The production is solid and the songs
never wallow as they can in some electronica. If you like Thevery
Corporation or Higher Intelligence Agency or anything off the
Waveforms label, you will love this record.
