THIS CITY OF NEIGHBORHOODS
is the first compilation album from The Beechfields Record Label.
It features new, exclusive tracks from The Seldon Plan, Private
Eleanor, The Red Vines, Among Wolves, A Cat Called Cricket, The
Honest Mistakes, Infinite Honey, and Pupa’s Window.
These bands and musicians believe that music is not about money
or fame, but about connections with other people through music.
Music is ultimately about human relationships, and enhancing the
collective relationships we all have with one another. The Beechfields
is proud to present such a diverse collection of music and viewpoints
within the scope of this compilation.
We’re giving this CD away free, because we think once
you hear these bands, you’ll want to buy their records.
We hope it'll help get you as excited about the future of Baltimore
music as we are! |

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"Terrific 15 song sampler from the very worthy Beechfields label that features all exclusive tracks except one. You have winners on here like the low-key pop of Infinite Honey, the even low-keyer Private Eleanor and the even more mellow Among Wolves (first time I had heard them). The Red Vines pep things up a bit with some cool organ and shuffling drums. Other tunes by The Seldom Plan, The Honest Mistakes and Pupa's Window. Unlike a lot of label samplers, this is definitely not some throwaway as the guys at the label worked hard on creating a keeper." - DaggerZine
"What a simple yet inspiring way to get new and creative
music out there. If only every label was this conscious."
- Mobtown
